About Pack 144

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 144! Our pack has been serving Marietta since 1985. We’ve had hundreds of scouts come through our doors - some even returning as adult leaders!

Cub Scouts is all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.

Pack 144 meets at First Baptist Church Marietta. FBCM is our Chartered Organization. You do not have to be members of the church, or even Baptist to join Cub Scouts! What a Chartered Organization does is provide a clean, safe facility for the Pack to meet in. The Pack itself has no religious affiliation. Scouting itself does promote a reverence to God. We encourage each child to worship, pray, and act according to their family’s faith, no matter what it is.

Our Pack is completely run by the parents and volunteers. We want all families that join to help in some capacity during the year. Cub Scouting is a family-oriented process where we are partnering with you to raise our children with strong character and moral values.

If you have a child that is in Kindergarten through 5th grade, we’d love to have you join us for a den or pack meeting to see what the FUN is about!
